This policy describes the RepostGrid Chrome extension. RepostGrid processes images locally in your browser and does not collect, sell, share, or upload personal data.

What RepostGrid Does

RepostGrid is an image splitter that runs in Chrome's side panel. It lets you upload, paste, crop, split, preview, and download image tiles for TikTok banners, Instagram grids, carousel slides, and custom social media layouts.

Data Collection

The RepostGrid Chrome extension does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.

Images selected by you are processed locally in the browser. The extension does not upload user images to RepostGrid, external servers, analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party APIs.

Image Processing

When you upload, drop, or paste an image, the extension loads that image into browser memory and uses the HTML Canvas API to generate tiles locally. Generated files are downloaded directly by the browser.

Permissions

The extension requests the sidePanel permission so it can open RepostGrid in Chrome's side panel when you click the extension icon.

The extension does not request host permissions and does not read or modify webpages.

Remote Code

The extension does not execute remote code. All scripts required by the extension are packaged with the extension.

Third Parties

The extension does not send user images or personal data to third parties.
